⚡ The Short Version

Don't misuse our site. Don't pretend to be us. Our product links go to third-party vendors who handle the actual sale. We're a curated directory with editorial content — not a store in the traditional sense. If you use this site, you agree to these terms.

1. What This Site Is

InvisibleWare (invisibleware.com) is a curated directory and editorial platform for anti-surveillance technology. We research, review, and recommend products from third-party vendors.

When you click a product link, you are taken to an external vendor's website (e.g., Amazon, independent manufacturers). We do not process orders, handle payments, or fulfill shipments. The transaction is between you and the vendor.

Some links are affiliate links — meaning we may earn a small commission on qualifying purchases. This doesn't cost you extra. See our Privacy Policy for details.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use this site. If you're under 18, you should probably have a conversation with a trusted adult about surveillance and privacy anyway — consider this educational material.

3. Intellectual Property

All original content on this site — articles, guides, graphics, copy, and code — is owned by InvisibleWare unless otherwise noted.

You may:

  • Share our articles with attribution and a link back
  • Reference our guides for personal or educational use
  • Screenshot and share on social media with credit

You may not:

  • Reproduce our content in bulk for commercial purposes
  • Scrape the site for AI training datasets (the irony would be too much)
  • Impersonate InvisibleWare or suggest official endorsement

4. Product Information & Disclaimers

We do our best to provide accurate product descriptions, pricing, and availability. However:

Prices & Availability

Product prices and availability are determined by the vendor, not us. They can change without notice. We update listings regularly but can't guarantee real-time accuracy.

Effectiveness Claims

When we say a product "defeats facial recognition" or "blocks IR scanning," we're reporting test results against specific systems (e.g., YOLOv5, YOLOv8). No product guarantees 100% invisibility in every scenario. Surveillance technology evolves. So should your toolkit.

Legal Compliance

Some products (body armor, signal jammers, encryption tools) are regulated differently by jurisdiction. It is your responsibility to know and comply with your local laws before purchasing.

DIY Guides

Our DIY guides are provided for educational purposes. If you build something using our instructions and it doesn't work, catches fire, or gets you weird looks at the coffee shop — that's on you. Build responsibly.

5. Third-Party Vendors

When you click through to a vendor:

  • You are subject to their terms of service, privacy policy, and return policy
  • We are not a party to your transaction with them
  • We don't have access to your purchase data, payment info, or shipping details
  • Disputes about orders, refunds, or product defects should be directed to the vendor

We vet our vendors, but we're not responsible for their actions after you leave our site.

6. User Submissions

If you submit a build, tip, or content through our Submit Your Build page:

  • You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to feature it on the site
  • You confirm the submission is your own work or you have rights to share it
  • We may edit submissions for clarity, formatting, or length
  • We'll credit you however you'd like (name, handle, or anonymous)

7. Limitation of Liability

This is the part where the lawyers get nervous. Deep breath.

Translation: we recommend gear in good faith and publish guides based on real research, but we can't predict every edge case. Use your judgment.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the applicable jurisdiction. We'd rather resolve things with a conversation than a courtroom, so reach out first.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the site evolves. Material changes will be noted with an updated date at the top. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance. If we ever change these terms to do something shady, refer to Section 10 of our Privacy Policy — burn everything.

10. Contact

Questions about these terms? Hit us up via the Contact page.

Most Terms of Service exist to protect companies from their own users. Ours exist because even an anti-surveillance site needs ground rules. Thanks for reading the whole thing — most people don't.
